SAN MARCOS, CA (10/1/2024) -- In a hard-fought contest, the Palomar College men's soccer team suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to San Diego Mesa College on Tuesday. The lone goal of the match came in the first half, leaving the Comets unable to find an equalizer despite several attacking opportunities.
Palomar battled throughout the game, with goalkeeper Amanueal Kidanemariam making key saves to keep the score close. The Comets had a handful of chances but couldn't break through Mesa's defense to level the match.
